As Hispanic parents living in the United States, Mr. and Mrs. Diaz encountered language, financial and cultural challenges with raising and educating their children in a new country. Experiencing and observing similar situations among other Hispanic parents, they sought the means to address these serious issues.
Such concerns motivated them to establish an organization that will guide, educate, seek and provide solutions to the problems in the community. In 2005 Fundacion Hispanoamericana emerged as a result of the Diaz's efforts, concerns and wishes to provide resources, education and alternatives to the Hispanic youth and their families.
"Knowledge has no Price, no Distances, no Barriers"
“Promote and cultivate scholastic achievement, educational excellence and the intellectual advancement of our Hispanic students. To assist, counsel, guide, and encourage Hispanic exceptional students to fulfill their higher education and knowledge aspirations, by providing or referring accessible financial resources available to them in working collectively with their families, school districts, colleges, universities and other institutions of its kind”.
